I was wondering, would it be a good idea to ground one’s water block, the lead broke off my newly bought 226w peltier, I thought of coating a corner with a thin layer of conductive ink, and connecting ground to the water block or cold plate, so as to connect ground to the contact inside the peltier to the water block, seeing as I cant re-solder the lead.

Also, when tightening the peltier between the water block and cold plate, is the peltier supposed to make a cracking noise, no damage is visible, so I am not sure whether the cracking is normal.

Thanks
