Any idea where I can get just the springs ??
Ive heard that you need around 200 Lbs clamping pressure
on the AMD palomino's ..
So I guess I need four 50'ish Lb load springs ???

I saw that Danger den sells the mount for the maze 2's for 5 bucks plus shipping ..
But all I need are the springs !!!
Hate to spend 10+ bucks for 4 springs !!!:D

Hmm... Try a local hardware store. I remember the hardware store that I used to live near had all sorts of springs, and each one was wired to a big red board so you could see all the different types.

Yeah ... I saw some at Home Depo but they didnt show a load rating ...
I obviously dont want to much pressure and hear that nasty crunch sound ..
But to little pressure and the temp goes wacky ..

I went to leespring.com and they have all the specs ,
But the smallest spring I found was 1/2 diam.

My local "canby builders supply" carreis 45 pound 1/8inch dia springs- abut $.50 each or something-
Spyder

Woah !!! No Shiz ???

I need to check on that ...

Any pro out there know right off hand ???

amd recommend 12-20 lb clamping pressure.

200lb is like 2 people standing directly over the cpu.. hmmmm that would do major damage!!!!

lol you added a 0 to both of them, i said in the block concept that you need up to 20 and get 4 5 pounders and you got 200 and 4 50 pounders, lol, we all make mistakes, but the hardware store will hook ya up easily.

lol
Man ... amazing what few dozen Corona's can do !!! haha

I could have sworn I saw 200 ... Maybe for Pelt rigs ??
Oh well ... Thanx peeps ...
