17' LCD, is DVI a wanted feature?

Hey Im thinking about buying a 17' LCD monitor. My question is everyone seems to say the SAMSUNG 710N-2 is probably one of the best. My question is.. it has no DVI...in fact Im surprised to see alot of LCD's don't have a DVI input even though most video cards have had DVI outputs for quite awhile....even my TV has DVI....why don't these LCD's? does it not make much of a difference?

It's subjective, some people wouldn't touch a non DVI LCD with a 10' pole, others can't see the difference at all. If your picky about IQ I'd say DVI is definetly important. I personaly would look for one with DVI. There are many low response DVI LCD's out tehre at a very reasonable price

Get LCD(s) with DVI inputs.
