For my Acer XB270HU I've tried the following 20 foot cables and neither are working:

#1
Monoprice SlimRun AV DisplayPort Fiber Cable:
https://www.monoprice.com/product?p_id=21804

#2
Tripp Lite DP > HDMI cable:
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0716N9LJM
In combination with Active HDMI > DP converter:
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01MZ6UT21

These cables are working with my other monitors. My 10 foot CableMatters DP > DP cable works with the Acer monitor, but I need around a 20-foot cable.

You can view the specs of the Acer XB270HU here; the only port is a Displayport. No HDMI:

Any suggestions? I am willing to pay as much as $250.

What card is this coming from?

Max spec length for DP is 3m IIRC... it will do longer runs with lower res, etc.

I'm wondering if, due to the length of the run and the res/refresh rate, it's just too long. The other monitors where these cables worked, are they using a smaller resolution and less refresh rate?

Why do you need 20' runs??

I have 4 monitors. 3 of them working good with 4k resolution and 2k resolution. Only Acer have the issue.
PC Tower moved to the shelf and I need somehow get a signal on Acer. It's ok if I can get only 2k@60Hz.

I think mb G-Sync cannot works with the long cable. unsure

The other monitors, are they 60 Hz? So this 4th is the only one over 60 Hz, but does work at 60 Hz 2560x1440 (for reference, 2K = 2048x1080)?

Not sure if the card is the issue trying to support 3x monitors, some at 4K, one at 2560x1440 (2K = 2048x1080) with high refresh rate...

the others monitors - 60Hz.
yes, I meant 2560x1440, just too lazy for typing this =)

so 2x Dell = 4k resolution.
and 2x Acer = 2560x1440 resolution. All of them @60Hz.

about G-Sync I meant about not the graphic card, my Acer working on G-Sync driver. I saw on Amazon some displayport converters which says - for g-sync monitors support only 1080p. idk.

Hmm, not sure on the last part...

Just seems like something (sorry, I know that isn't helpful) is giving up the ghost with that last 2560x1440 144Hz monitor, be it the run is too long to support that res, or the GPU(s) cannot output that many monitors at high resolutions and refresh rates.

I'm just not sure that res with that high refresh rate with that length of cable will work is the issue. But, someone else will swing by and have other ideas. :)
