Abit IC7-G supports Prescott 3.4E???

I'm a bit confused after searching around the net. I heard someone said it cant boot into post with a 3.4E. Anyone here succeeded in putting a 3.4E in IC7-G. my bios is the latest 2.8 and 2gb PC3200(4x512MB), im planning to get a prescott off Ebay to upgrade my system. Thank you for your reply.
it seems like 3.4E is the fastest model for socket 478. correct me if im wrong

iirc the 3.40E is the 90nm process with 1Mb L2 cache?
looks like it's supported on BIOS 28 at least then.

I ran a 3.4E in my IC7-G MaxII (retired it a month ago). It works fine.

I have a 3.4E in my IC7-G right now!

I'm running mine @ 218 FSB (PC3500 DDR) 3.7GHz
Temps are in the 50s idle and 60s load (copper Zalman heat sink) [was 40s~50s with Big Typhoon]

Couldn't believe how much cooler my E6600 runs (23C idle, 35C load )
