amd 900 vodoo overclock

I have an Athlon 900 and a vodoo 3 not a great video card but i decided to see how I could tweek it so I screwed a 60 mm fan onto the heat sink and ran quake benchmarks here is what I found ov

1024 by 768 on high detail

166mhz default 55.6 fps
176mhz 58.9 fps
186mhz 62.1 fps
196mhz 65.4 fps
200mhz quake locked up

not bad overclocked my vodoo 3000 an extra 30mhz and squeezed 9.8fps more on average not bad I think

what has any 1 goten a vodoo 3000 up to ??


I know this video card ant new or nonthing but I cant upgrade when a new video card comes out and I paid $230.00 for this card about year and half ago so it got to do for another little while yet.

thats really weird dude i also have a 900 mhz amd and a voodoo 3. not a bad setup actually i can still run many new games like "black and white" in 1024x786 highest detail at atleast 30 fps. for such an old card its a good one.
