AMD Radeon Driver Update Failed: Incompatible Build Error

Windows 11 Pro graphics Driver Update fails with error Incompatible build.

Windows installation was more than once repaired and more than 2 years old.

Using drlver uninstallarion tools including AMD applications , the issue persists.

Wiping the OS drive and starting with a complete new installation , the problem no longer remains.

You have replied to a couple of my posts.

I get something similar (Nvidia) if I try to install anything newer than 474.44 (I think that is version number)

I also get an error on Diablo 4 if I try to run it with anything older than 46x.xx It list the version number when it fails to run the program.

Difference is my system truly is an incompatible system unlike your sig rig.

Do you think it was a OS corruption?
