Anti Mac Laptop concept

So I've taken apart (i took out everything and am left with just the plastic shell) my newly aquired asus z63a (its a 14.1" lappy) and I'm going to mod it. What I want to do is cut out this symbol below, place a thin sanded peice of lexan behind it and illuminate it with 4 3mm leds using the usb ports and possibly get some sort of switch going where I can turn the lights on and off. So any ideas on how to make a chic looking switch? THe symbol is going to be approximately 3 by 3 inches
