Are refurbished parts a safe way to go?

I bought it already refurbished, and as far as I know it came with a 7 year warranty. I may be wrong about that. The link you posted, which is what I bought, states it comes with a 7 year factory warranty.

It says under the warranty tab

• Limited Warranty period (parts): 1 year
• Limited Warranty period (labor): 1 year

If you still have the brown box it came in, the warranty will be on the bottom right side of the label
