Hope someone can shed some light on this for me. I just got an external Rosewill enclosure that supports USB3.0 and comes with USB 3.0 cable. I have latest ASRock USB 3.0 driver installed (Win7 64-bit NEC v10190) since day one. Got all excited to test this out on a Samsung 1.5TB SATAII drive. I wasn't expecting 100MB/s transfer, but rather approx. 70MB/s transer (more realistic). As luck would have it, I'm only getting (yup, you guessed it) approx. 35MB/s which is regular USB 2.0 speeds... Any ASRock owners out there that can help?

Yes, I have the cable plugged into the back USB 3.0 ports... tried both too...

Stupid me... I thought I had the latest BIOS. I thought 1.5 was the latest, however, 1.6 is the latest and I obviously didn't look hard enough at the ASRock website. My bad...

Transfer rate is approx 80-90MB/s (file dependent) - NICE!

Hopefully, this will help someone else.
