I am starting my first build soon, and need some advive on what ram to get.I want 2 x 1 gig.I'm not going to overclock, but I would like the option to play the latest games.I have been reading alot about ram and it gets confusing.

Lower latencies are apt to cause instability so that's whythe stock ram is generally recommended to be cas 2.5 or cas 3 with the latencies to be left at "by spd".

What ram works good with this board.I dont want cheap ram,but then again,I dont want to to get the most expensive. Here are the specs on the board I'm getting..

If you are a gamer I suggest you go for a 2x1gig set from OCZ or GSkill. Don't go too crazy worrying about how well it will overclock as that's what dividers are for. There is only a marginal performance gains from low latency or higher clocks, but much to be gained from having the 2 gigs of ram. Good luck.
