Is there an IE version that actually works on IE 10 under Windows 8?

I'm not sure about IE specific addons, but I'm certain there are applications (outside of the browser) that do this. I'll admit, working in putty and inside the powershell console all day spoils you with that feature.. would be nice it if was an option elsewhere in windows.
