BFG 7900gs oc $99.99 AR at Fry's

Fry's (outpost.com) has the BFG 7900GS OC video card for $99.99 after $50 MIR.

the link for the rebate is messed up shows the 7950gt rebate.
you can email them and they will send you the correct rebate form.

There have been reports that this card uses the gt core and u can unlock the other pipes. but it might be YMMV on that part of it

$99? Hmmmm, might have to try again. Then again, maybe not.

Yeah. I am the one who received 6 dead cards (exact same as above) in a row from the Egg.
Some even had the caps by the power connectors replaced. You could tell by the terrible soldering job.
These were new units not refurbs. Needless to say, BFG burned me bad.

They take off the rebate every once in a while, but basically this deal has been going on for a while now. I'm starting to see 7900GS's disappear off e-tailer's sites so now might be the time to get one if you're not going with a DX10 card.

I got in on this deal from Fry's a while back, and have been pretty happy with the card. I'm not planning on moving to Vista anytime soon, so DX10 support wasn't an issue, and it handles F.E.A.R. Combat like butter.

The rebate's not the quickest (my check's due to mail out in a month), but it seems reliable. Nice heads-up, dawgs!
