Looks like a nice system you have picked out. I prefer the DFI NF4 offering over what MSI has to offer, but that isn't to say it's not a nice board. For that price on the memory though, i would rather pick up some OCZ TCCD's, these DIMM's will do as high as 300HTT 1:1 in some cases with low voltage. Would just be nice to have that overclocking ability down the road as well as at a great price. These were going for ~240 just a month ago.

XP Pro not home :D

Antec TruepowerII $109.00
Fortron Blustorm AX500-A ~$85

ASUS A8N SLI or the DFI NF4 Ultra D ( you can mod it to an SLI). Please talk to Sentential and Dread-Star regarding the MSI -Neo2. You will geta general idea on the potential problems plaguing MSI.

athlon 64 3500+ Venice(Retail) $287.00 or less
 I would recommend the 3200 as more bang for the buck but the 3500 is pretty cool too.

MSI NX6800GT 256mb pci-express $375.00

Corsair XMS 1GB (2 x 512MB) 184-Pin DDR SDRAM TWINX1024-3200XL $188.88
PDP Patriot XBLK $218 for 512 x 2. Look here for results.

Please avoid Thermaltake products. They seem to have a very bad rep among the enthusiast community. I would pick up an XP-90 or an XP-90c instead.

HP Photosmart 2610 multifunction $249.99 or less
Vantec Cable Sleeving Kit, Black $9.49
ViewSonic vp19b Black 19" 8ms $429.99

That Thermaltake is a case, Super Nade :p

You're going to need some cooling. The Thermalrigh xp-120 is generally referred to as the best air cooling out there. I have one myself, and it works wonders even with low fan speeds (relative to the amazingly high ambient temps here). If you're case is a bit small (that one isn't, but if you want a smaller hs) you can get the xp-90 or xp-90c. Those two get great temperatures as well. You'll also need a fan. I like my 120mm medium speed panaflo. It's very quiet on low fan speed. If noise is an issue, consider getting a fan controller. They're about $30, and they can drastically reduce the noise of your machine.

So the reason ram is dropping is because of the new TCCD technology?

I wouldn't say TCCD is new anymore but with it and UTT ram being a better option over bh-5 in most cases and DDR2 being out yea that is going to have a really high effect on DDR ram prices.
