I was installing utilities for a new Asus P8Z77-V mobo and the installation did not finish fully. Now everytime I restart my PC I get a "can not load asacpi.ll" message. I can not finish intalling the utilities and I can't uninstall them either because it says they're being used by other programs. I Googled fixes but there isn't much other than a couple sites wanting money to download their "fix-all" programs that I don't trust. Anyone whos been through this please help!

First piece of advice: whatever you do, don't pay any money to a website!

Can you try booting into safe mode (F8) and uninstalling/reinstalling? Safe mode may not have the utilities working.

Do you know specifically which utilities you are trying to install, and which ones failed?
