I need a 1500uf/6.3v capacitor for a mobo, no place around here carries that size, this old PSU has a 2200uf/6.3v would the higher capacitor work fine?
 
You should be able to use something like this. I don't think you'd be able to use a higher capacitance value, however, higher voltage values will work fine.
 
No. You may use one with a HIGHER or SAME voltage rating/ SAME uf. If you use a different uf rating, it discharges/charges at a different rate. If you use a lower voltage rating, the cap may explode. A higher voltage rating never hurts though.
