First hi for all, second I want to know if the Kingston HyperX Black 8GB 1600MHz 240-Pin DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) and The Kingston HyperX Fury White Series 4GB 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 are compatible with the core i5 2500k.
Thx for reading.
They should be, yes. However, as Redduc mentioned, we need to know the model of motherboard you have. If you go to your mobo's website it will list ram they have tested.
Now if the ram is NOT on the list that does NOT mean it will not work!!! Chances are it sure will.
I am confused though, are you mixing both of those kits on the same board???
The motherboard is asus p8p67 and no i don't want to mixi both of those kits on the same board i only want to know which one of those are more compatible with the cpu and the motherboard.
I have to imagine either will work fine. Again what is on that list only represent what is TESTED. If it is not on the list, chances are very very good it will work just fine.
