Corsair lpx 2x4 gig set changes in pcb?

Looking to rebuy a second pair of my existing memory that I've had for a few years now, any info if they have gone from single rank to dual rank or whatever?

Want to ensure maximum chance of compatibility, since 16v gigs is more than what my video card cost new when i bought it.. May have to wait it out annoyingly enough.

Corsair is using all available IC so you have to look for the same revision number. After so long time you will probably find different IC in memory under the same product number. There is a chance that you find the same IC but better would be to get 2x8GB and sell this 2x4GB.
4GB modules will be only single rank.
