SOLVED diferent RAM sticks

Hi all,

I have Patriot Gamer 2 1600 2 sticks x 4gb each. I am planning to upgrade to 16GB.
Can I install 2 sticks from Patriot and 2 from G.Skill?

Both will have the same capcity (4gb each), latencies and voltage.

PS If anyone is wondering, G.Skill Ripjaws X 8GB kit (4GB x 2) 1600 9-9-9-24-2T 1.5v

As long as they all have the same timings/voltages and settings, yes you can

@ polacos... Just a FYI, but there's more to timings than just the four primary and Command Rate. Here's a pic. taken of CPU Tweaker w/ DDR3-2400 installed, showing all of the available sub-timings. Hence the problem w/ installing mis-matched modules, even though the four primary timings and CR match, is that for the most part the sub-timings won't and may cause issues w/ stability.
