hi all.
I hope that some one can help me I have http://valid.canardpc.com/2828775 that is not OCed now , and I just both 6 x 4GB 240p PC3-10600 CL9 DDR3-1333 2Rx4 1.5V ECC RDIMM Samsung, M393B5170EH1-CH9Q1 .
the BIG Problem is that it wont start with these RAMs I tried them all , just one , in different slots and nothing , as error from MB I get "b8 ; 02 or O2 ; EA ; 01 or O1
Please help

Ok, you didn't mention in the dead thread you had a board that could handle ECC. THank you for clarifying (I cannot see the canardpc link from the office will check it out later)

Have you tried raising the VTT voltage? Give it .2 more and see what happens.

When you say 'won't start' I assume it does not even POST, none the less get to windows?

nothing works :D as error from MB I get "b8 ; 02 or O2 ; EA ; 01 or O1" I am also new to forum and IT so please excuse my IT terminologies

So, to be clear, you cannot even get into the bios with any one of the DIMMs installed in any of the sockets?

cold be that I both some bad Dims ? :D I have about a week to send them back

My only suggestion is to try different ram. Have you went to the ASUS website and checked for ram compatibility for this board?

By the way, EDIT your posts when you need to add something instead of double+ posting. :)

EDIT: Also note, that the processor in the machine will only work if the motherboard has bios 0301 or later...: https://www.asus.com/Motherboards/P6X58E_WS/#support

You can try raising the VTT with your good sticks .2 save, reboot, then shutdown and try the new sticks... Otherwise, get rid of em as they do not seem to work with this setup.

supposing that u meant DRAM Voltage I tried @ 1.52 and 1.60 with no succes :((
The RAM Diag_Led pops Up and all ends in death :((((

Question :( I have seen ECC Registered DIMMs & ECC UDIMMs
Specs MB say 6 x DIMM, Max. 24 GB, DDR3 2000(O.C.)/1866(O.C.)/1800(O.C.)/1600(O.C.)/1333/1066 ECC,Non-ECC,Un-buffered Memory
and the DIMs I both are R Registered no ? PC3-10600R
in the RAM Support List I found @1333MHz only UDIMMs but @1066 there are Registered

I am confused now.

Your RAM is registered. For this board you probably can use only unbuffered. At least all small servers that can use also desktop CPUs can use only unbuffered ECC.

In official specification there is only:
6 x DIMM, Max. 24 GB, DDR3 2000(O.C.)/1866(O.C.)/1800(O.C.)/1600(O.C.)/1333/1066 ECC,Non-ECC,Un-buffered Memory
