Looking to build a new rig this winter primarily for graphic, 3d, cad and GIS work. I understand that nothing is future proof but I'm curious if either one would provide the more solid foundation to build from, considering the rigs intended use

I'm looking at Asus EVO's for a board and am curious about chipsets. I'll have a standalone graphics card and will most likely be OCing. I'm the usual tight a$$ who wants bang for buck. Any wisdom and suggestions would be great.

I am considering the same 2 boards,I am leaning toward the 790X from what i have read it seems to be the better board,8x 8x crossfire,better power system etc. 790 nb 750 sb . The 785g nb and sb710 seems to be aimed @The HTPC ,mid level crowd.
