Helo everybody ,

First I'm sorry if i have Bad English ,

I use an old motherboard
Biostar Mcp6pb m2+
and i want to try flashing the BIOS from Bootable USB with DOS Flash

So whenever i tried to start progamming it always said

"Flash type : Unknown"
it won't start flash
I tried again and again But It doesn't start ?

Anyone could help me how to fix that problem ?
thanks anyway

AMD Athlon ii X2 245 - no overclock
2 GB Ram

Is the new image file on the USB drive? Do you type flashing command manually or is it in the autoexec.bat? In either case, does it refer to the right image file?

re

hello redduc

that's the problem if i use that ultilities

WIN flash progam was too risky
and if anything happen during flash then mobo is die :rain:

and I don't have any Floopy drive

just trying USB flashing

Well .. I can only recommend starting from scratch (wipe USB drive clean re-download, etc.) or risk doing it from Windows as per Biostar instructions (just make sure not run anything else at the same time)
