well i just vmoddded my card to 1.5 and it does 690/850 stable
the wierd thing is in 3dmark05 i get 9.3k
when i had a vmodded 7800gtx @ 575/725 i got 9.7k!
so right now i have 115 more core and 125 more memory..yet my score is weaker by .4k

anyone have any idea what could be causing this?!

A few ideas . . .

-- Try lowering the speeds and see if scores go up (3DMark is picky. If there's any artifacts at all, it will lower scores.)
-- Try the RAM at stock. (That's usually the most responsible for artifacts.)
-- Try a little more juice (If it's anything like the 7800GTX, then I think you could still go up to 1.65V without any harm, provided your cooling is good.)
-- Try an older driver

That's all I can think of . . . I hope you get it sorted. ;)

1.5v you say? How are your temps? I am just a little nervous to put 1.5v into my card. I saw your post in the classies selling your x1800...I thought you liked it better than the 7900GT?

As long as you have good air or water 1.5V is no problem. I'm at 1.4V and load temps are in the low 50's with mt NV silencer.

If you are not using 84.21 drivers, give that a shot. Those drivers give the best score for me.
