I have an intel i7 860 oc'd to 4ghz with 2 x 2gb g skill pis @ 1600 mhz 7-7-7-24 on an evga p55 sli. I was just wondering if it'd be more to my benefit for gaming to run it at the stock settings of 2200 mhz 7-10-10-28. thank you.

You will be hardpressed to find a difference. Only in benchmarking do you really see the difference. You are fine where you are at. In the future, just buy some 1600Mhz sticks and save some money. :)

Not really a difference, maybe 1-2% higher FPS in some games. You can always try if you notice any difference running them higher. These sticks should make 2200-2400+ 7-10-7-28 1.65-1.75V

first off my voltages settings are: vcore 1.3v no vdroop, vtt 1.3v, and dimm 1.65v (cpu multiplier 20)

at 2400 7-10-7-28 1.70v it boots up but prime95 crashes immediately. at 2000 7-10-7-28 1.70v my computer won't even boot up, board shows C0 (secondary initialization of CPU). so i reverted to 1600 7-7-7-24 1.65v, thoughts?

At a BCLK of either 200 (2:10 FSB : DRAM ratio = DDR3-2000) or 166 on the 2:12 divider, make sure MCH Strap is set to either 1600 or 1867, CPU VTT is at 1.40V, and PCIe Frequency is at 104.
