I am building a system with I7-5820k and MSI X99 SLI. Has anyone tested this ram out on this board.

What model number of RAM?

Plenty of RAM will work that isn't on this list as well.

I see no reason it wouldn't work.

It's working fine just have to update BIOS as early versions had problems with higher clocked memory.

Check it out at the MSI website... if its on the list, they tested it. If it is not, they didn't, but chances are it will still work. Just update the bios to the latest as there are some memory compatibility updates.

Ty for the replies gonna build this tomorrow. I7-5820k with 16 gig ripjaw pc4-24000. Graphite 760T case. Evga 850 supernova 850, gskill pc4-24000 ram. Noctua NH-D14 cooler. Msi gtx980 G4 Samsung EVO 850 512 gb ssd and MSI x99 sli motherboard
