Alright, I just got done purchasing this for my upgrade today:

G.SKILL 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 1066 (PC2 8500)
GIGABYTE GA-MA780G-UD3H AM2+/AM2 AMD 780G HDMI ATX AMD Motherboard
AMD Athlon 64 X2 7750 Kuma 2.7GHz Socket AM2+ 95W Dual-Core black edition

I noticed that there is only one PCI slot and the others are PCI-e, my question is, currently in my PC, I have two PCI cards, usb add on and, this sound card I got awhile back:

Chaintech AV-710

Is the onboard audio better than the card I have or vice versa, cause I will only have room for one PCI card.

I would take the chaintech anyday even if it meant using my 1 available pci slot over onboard sound, even the best mobos use garbage for onboard audio.

Yeah right. I've owned many high end motherboards but despite the fact that cost a lot all off them have crappy audio.
