GIGABYTE GA-MA790FX-DS5 2nd hand worth it?

Got a mate selling this board....

It's AM2+ AMD 790FX, SB600

Should I grab it to save a little or save for a SB750??? I am hoping to upgrade to PII and a x-fire some 4870's or 90's in the next 6-9 months.

Board has ok newegg reviews and oc's well according to a few other reviews on the net.

A side note to anyone suggesting I don't upgrade m/b just yet,
I am giving my current board away in the next few months so will be buying a new board either way.

Well I certainly didn't have any trouble OC'ing a 940BE on a 790FX/SB600 board ...

Yeah I snapped it up....
Online reviews seem good in regards to oc'ing and stability and all the more recent newegg reviews are good.

I've got an ASUS but it was open box as well - and not my first from Newegg. I guess a lot of people have had issues with open box but I never have ...
