help - audio driver suddenly died

hello there

my audio driver suddenly uninstalled itself after my battery died on my Dell Inspiron 1525 - and got a bluescreen saying it needed a physical memory dump - im using vista 32bit

and ever since, the device manager shows an "unknown device"

and the CDs i have dont seem to work with it
ive tried Support.Dell.com
it doesnt recognise the audio device

ive tried a Windows Update search too
running out of options, any help would be appreciated

also if i decide to format and start afresh, what are the chance the audio drivers will be there again..

50 % , if the sound card still failing the RMA will be the best option .
