Back in college I purched an HP 1020 laser printer. It has served me well but it is not wireless and will not work with a print server. I am getting sick of having to boot my gaming computer which requires turning on my stereo and TV just to print. I would love the ability to print from my laptop or cellphone and I am willing to pay up to $100 for it.

I have an Asus a rt-68u which has a built in usb print server but I would I would prefer a printer that has native wifi ability.

Additionally I want something that doesn't require special software to print. The hp 1020 I currently have need special software installed to control the printer, errors from jam and empty paper have to be cleared on the computer, there is no way to clear them on the printer.

A couple I was eyeing up are
Samsung http://m.newegg.com/Product/index?itemnumber=N82E16828112479

Brother http://m.newegg.com/Product/index?itemnumber=1EE-0008-00094

Xerox http://m.newegg.com/Product/index?itemnumber=N82E16828116412

What do you guys think and experience with these or any other?

Thanks but that is a bit out of my price range.

I have this: https://www.amazon.com/Canon-imageCLASS-LBP6030w-Wireless-Printer/dp/B00K5UZO0Q and has worked well for me. Wifi, small footprint, very basic and simple. No duplex. 3rd party toner cartridges are readily available and inexpensive. No ethernet port but can be networked via the Wifi easily enough. I don't think it has ever jammed on me.

That certainly fits the bill. Thank you
