Homemade Hard Drive Tach

I had a little meter off of an old amp , just tying in a 4.7kohm resistor with it into the hd led line and bam ! insta-mod

just to the led wires ... i used a lighter to melt off the plastic jacket and soidered the resistor and wire leads off of both wires .. then covered everything up with electrical tape so nothing would short.

thanks !! you cant tell by the movie but i accually tied it into the "power on" lead aswell (to backlight the meter) ...
