How can I quickly tell by model numbers which motherboards support overclocking?

I'm looking at new miniITX motherboards, I used to only buy Asus, but want to expand my search to Gigabyte as well, maybe other brands. I remember Z series Asus were overclockable (for example P8Z77 series), is this still true? Any other models that support overclocking?

EDIT: Interested in Sandy Bridge or later generation CPU only

Which generation are you looking at? For the most part if they are a Z chipset they do, if they ate H they do not.

Exactly.. what generation are you talking? What was listed was a model number, not a chipset, btw.

It's usually the x and z chipsets that overclock, like x79/x99 z77/z87/z97/z170 etc...
