I think I'll wait a little while before I buy one for myself. That way I'll outlast the initial scalping that the online vendors will be doing on these, plus I will be able to get a board and flash the bios to one that supports this 6 core beast. Since I have to pass through Houston on the way home next week, I'll hit the Microcenter there and get me a $200 i7 920 to get things going with. These are supposed to have the same MSRP as the 975, so it looks like TD is scalping an extra $100 for it. And I bet that the other major online e-tailers scalp the price a bit too.
