I know my DP55KG MB is old, but it is still way faster than two brand new laptops that I just bought, and I really don't have the cash to build a new computer, so I just packed it away.

At a quick glance, I'm not sure there is anything new in there. Intel had stated from early on they wont do microcode updates... I forget exactly, but they didn't go back that far. I haven't checked them all individually, but there are some seriously old chipsets there.

Further, to my understanding, Meltdown was a software fix anyway. This only impacts spectre.
