Well, the OCZ PC3500 EL I have in my backup 2.4C rig does DDR440 or 275 FSB (3.3 gig) using the 5:4 ratio with 2,3,2,5 timings (your mileage may vary). Right now the two hot tickets seem to be Mushkin PC3500 Black Line Level II and OCZ PC3500 Platinium Edition.

I think the hyperX memory is a better idea that the OCZ. I was able to get my 2.4C to 3.36 Ghz ROCK SOLID with HyperX 3500. It was at 280 FSB, 5/4 divider, but that was with my IC7.

I sold it and am getting an IS7, with PC3500 HyperX and a 2.6C on teusday. I'll let you know where I get to then. :D

What is your best overclock running 1:1? Also what settings for 1:1

Hi Cisco Kid, I have the IS-7 with the Kingston HyperX4000 ( 2 sticks ) along with the 2.4 C. I too have not been able to run 1:1 at 250 FSB despite raising / lowering Vdimm, and 3-4-4-8 timings. Kinston tech mentioned that they were unable to run 1:1 with the IS7 and test only with the 875 chip sets. Also CPUZ reports the memory as PC3200.

yeah I have since sold that ram and I am planning to buy some Geil pc4200 or 4000 2x256, luckily I recouped my cash on the 4000 Hyper X and will drop down to 2x256, lemme know if you get better results

this might be lil off topic but i wanted too pick up this board for my 1.8a but i was reading what chip it supose too support and it only supports 533/800. i thought it supports 400 too? even on abits website it doesnt say anything about 400.
can i still get this board and run my chip in it?

I have been trying all sorets of ram on the IS7, I just returned some Geil PC4000 7,4,4,2.5 I could not get it to run 1:1 but it would run 270 fsb stable at 5:4. So I returned it and then bought my 1st Corsair ram Twin X PC3700 dual kit 2x256 timings of 8,4,4,3.

I can get system to post but screen remains blank with 1:1 @ 250 which is the best I have done so far with my 2.4C,
GAT settings are A,A,A,Dis,Dis
fixed pci
800 strap
timings default

Has anyone had experience with this ram, I am looking for some help to get 250fsb @ 1:1 used vcore of 1.550, vdimm of 2.8 boards max??

Stuck

yes, absolutely sure.
i have running an p4m default 100 fsb. (and c4m too, but need v-mod)
and ppl run p4 1.8A too. :)
but the dividors 3:4 and 4:5 works poor.
try 1:1 with GAT: f1-str-4-e-e or so. (my settings @ 209fsb)

ANyone using TwinXMS Corsair PC3700 on an IS7, if so would love to hear from you
