Long delay between turning on from sleep and USB becoming active

Not sure where this goes, but I think it's software related, so I put it here. Anyway, whenever I turn my computer back on from sleep, the USB mouse and keyboard take a long time (~30 sec) to become active. I have them connected to the USB hub built into my monitor (so there's only one USB cable running from my desk to my tower), and I usually just end up power cycling my monitor until they decide to start working. Anyone know what's going on?

Let me say i not any kind of Guru on this, but maybe there is a answer in this post or if you click it back. There is a list on Google about this issue, so kindly take a look and see if it helps you in anyway! AJ.
