mobile 2400+

I have an Asus a7a266 Rev1.10. Beta bios 1013.01. I am wondering if anyone knows if a mobile processor (xp2400+) wil work. The bios gives me 1.7v-core up to 1.85 v-core. I am running an xp1700+ Palomino core now. The rest of the details are: 512 megs of pc2700 ram (ocz) radeon 7000 32meg video, coolermaster aero7+. I can only get this one to run up to 1722mgz.

If a barton works, the 2400 ought to. Check Asus' web site and/or update the bios. It should once you do that.
