I just recently took a punt and purcahsed a J&W extreme 790gx mother board for my hack game machine and really i cant fault it. yes its not ASUS but I could get almost every tech i wanted for half price - now thats what i call value for money.. I have always purchased ASUS and Gb in past so i though why not.

yes its only ddr2!

Not sure what they retail for in the US but here (Aussie) they go for about $130 australian, SWEET!
 
Cool. Looks like a knock of another board though... Like an MSI or something. I dont think this is available in the state though. For $100 USD, you should be able to get a decent mobo anyway.
