MSI 970a-g45 and fx4100 problem

so i have all the parts and what not for my new computer.
when i try to boot up i get a black screen. Everything is spinning and on but to no avail.
This is my 2nd mobo at first i thought it was DOA so i sent i tback to new egg and got a new one. same problem still.
what ive been reading is that the bios isnt set for fx series so what im asking you guys is am i going to have to buy a super cheap am3 cpu just to get it booted?

yes ...... you will ahve to flash your BIOS with the lates that supports the FX series CPU.

Hey,that sounds familiar. just sent my board back for same reason.I should've read the web site cpu list a little closer.
