Multi-Conductor Cable

I was just wondering... If one were to want to rewire a power supply, couldn't we just use 18-5 cable? (Or 18-X depending on what you are wiring)

Its not expensive, and if you have a long initial run, it could make things look nicer / different.

It seems to me that in most cases its overkill. Sleeving and neatness will take care of the nice/different.

You COULD use that cable. It will probably be about as flexible as cheap Coax.

Id rather use a high quality stranded, sleeved and of the correct length. Most of the cables on my server are about 1' too long. The 24 and 4 pin is literally ~3" from the PSU, the EPS 8 pin is ~6"...
