New Install no Sound

Asus P8Z77-v Deluxe New Install. Board lights up so all seems OK. But I cant figure out the sound connector. I have a y split cable HD Audio & AC'97. Tried both and get no sound. Any help? Also I'm using case CoolerMaster Storm Trooper.

did you install all the drivers for your board? download fresh ones from there website and skip the ones included on disk.
