Hi,

I made a new PC build that i would like and needed some tips on how to improve on it.
I did most research through reviews on youtube and build guides.
My budget is 2000 - 2500 EUR (2200 - 2700 USD)

GPU: EVGA GeForce GTX 980 Ti
CPU: Intel® Core™ i7-4790K, 4,0 GHz (4,4 GHz Turbo Boost), Processor
Motherboard: ASRock Z97 Extreme6
RAM: Corsair 16 GB DDR3-1600 Kit (2x8)
SSD: Samsung 850 EVO, 500 GB SSD
Hard Disk: HGST Travelstar 5K1000, 1 TB Hard Disk
Power Supply: EVGA 600B Bronze
Cooling: Thermalright Silver Arrow IB-E, CPU-cooler (don't know if intel coolers are any good)
Noctua NF-P12 PWM, Case fan
Case: Cooler Master CM 690 III

What could i do better (or cheaper)
Suggestions for the case are welcome :).
Thanks in advance.

Looks good, but with that budget you should go with an i7 4790k and z97 extreme 6. I'd even bump the ram to 16gb. It will be more expensive (obviously), but the longevity would be much higher. Ram isn't so important as you can add more later, but it fits your budget well right now.

I'd swap to the 850 EVO and 4790K.
Other than that, I like it.

BTW, what case were you planning to use?

As Bob said, a 4790K would be better, and for that budget, you should go 16GB of RAM. It doesn't have to be Corsair, and Corsair RAM is generally more expensive than other brands. If you're overclocking, you'll want an aftermarket cooler. If not, the stock cooler does fine (what it's meant for).

That PSU is a good quality pick from what I understand, but this is a cheaper option.

Other than those suggestions, that build looks solid.

Wouldn't the i7 overkill? will it improve my gaming expirience?
I am not going to be overclocking if that matters.

Yes, it will improve, as it has a higher frequency.
If you're not OCing, all the better reason to buy the faster CPU up front.

I am not gonna be overclocking. I suppose when the stock cooler makes to much noise I could still change it afterwards. Thats what i had to with my current pc (AMD).
Ty for tip on PSU and RAM :)

For your budget, you should get a 4790k and a moderately decent motherboard. If you had a tighter budget, sure get a cheaper cpu. Look at it like this... games and programs are becoming progressively more threaded. An i5 is 4 threaded, an i7 is 8 threaded. For 90$ more you get a lot more long term performance.

This and a higher clock speed
