Is it possible to overclock a Dell PowerEdge 2300 mainboard with two Pentium II 400MHz cpus running Linux?

I've heard of softFSB, but have never used it (I tweak the bios and use AMD chips). Is softFSB or something like it available for Linux?

If I can't... no bother, just thought I'd ask.

More than lilkely it will be a no go as Dell uses all Intel parts (to my knowledge) & Intel doesn't allow overclocking. Then again maybe Dell did something to make me wrong. Might as well check it out.

I'm not aware of any software overclocking tools for linux (although I would like one). Other than that, you can modify the hardware (a turbo-pll style mod would probably do you, but you certainly risk killing your rig doing it).
