Old Ceramique, New A64 2800+ Mobile

I have some old Ceramique(by Arctic Silver) I bought a year ago. Will that go with a brand new 2800+ mobile or should I get some new thermal paste? If so, what would be the degree difference?

One off topic question, should thermal paste ever be removed(with very high % alcohol?) and reapplied?

Yeah Ceramique is just as or almost good as AS5 so its fine for your rig. Read the instructions on the AS website on application.

Reapplied , hmm i reapply mine when i fully clean my system. heatsink being so heavy i take it off to clean to then i reseat it after cleaning all the old paste of and apply new. but that noe to offten , naybe ill estamate a time anywhere from 4 to 6 months depending how much i use my system or how dusty it gets.

one thing to is some people will say the paste is good for about 2 years
