Outlook.com web mail down for hours today

Anyone got the scoop on whey Outlook.com web mail is down for so long today? Had a problem with it on a customer's computer earlier today. After creating a secondary Outlook web mail account for the customer to be used as a recovery account she got a greeting from Microsoft but the message said, "Your message cannot be displayed right now." Same thing when I got home and checked my own Outlook web mail account on my own computer at home. All of the emails in my inbox have that same error message, even the ones that were already there before this problem.

It's worked fine for me all day.

Turns out it's a problem with the latest Outlook beta version (except in Microsoft browsers): https://outlook.uservoice.com/forum...the-body-won-t-load-i-sugg?page=1&per_page=20

When I toggled off the beta version it works fine.

Ahh. I don't use the beta, so that would explain that.

I have been using the beta recently and it worked fine until today. Must have been borked by an update.
