Hi,

I have this new config :

GeForce GTX 1080 Ti ASUS ROG Strix 11 Go OC @ 2050 Mhz
Intel I7 8700K OC @ 4,9 GHz
G.Skill DDR4 Trident Z RGB 3000 Mhz - 32 Go
MSI Z370 Gaming Pro Carbon
Seasonic Focus+ 750 Platinium
Nzxt Kraken x62

And I'm asking myself if overclock my memory is a good thing, or just a detail ?!

Me memory :

32 Go: 4 x 8 Go - 1.35 V
DDR4 SDRAM
3000 MHz (PC4-24000)
CL15 (15-16-16-35)

Principal use of the PC is gaming !

And if yes, someone can help me to do it ? :p

Regards

+1 you won't see a difference overclocking past 3000 speed. Set XMP and post if it works out.

You can likely just raise the ram speed to 3200 and might need a slight voltage bump to the DRAM but Hynix memory doesn't do high speed very well.
