Good Day Everyone, Great Site You Have Here.

I need some help over clocking an older system, everything I try fails... I've tried many suggestions from the net with the same CPU & MOBO but no go.

My system;
GIGABYTE GA-EP45-UD3P
Extreme Quad Core QX9650 or X9650 (sometimes called???)
OCZ 4X2GB (8GB) 800MHz SLI RAM
KINGSTON A400 960GB SSD
EVGA-850-BQ PSU
ANTEC WATER-COOLER (fan on each side of radiator)
AMD R9 270X
4 HARD DISC's (4X2TB=8TB) WITH FAN

I'd like to overclock CPU, RAM & GPU mostly for fun because I don't game all that much but do use Photo Shop and a few other CPU intensive APP's.

Since I tried so many different combinations of overclocking one by one I'm thinking something might be faulty.

I do have a few other CPU's I could use, like the Q9650 and Q6600 I don't know which is better the Q9650 or the QX9650? I also have extra OCZ RAM not SLI though.

Any help would be very greatly appreciated
