I use the sound onboard and I have an USB ADSL modem (urmet adsl modem), which may be the cause (I only suppose).

What can I do ?

Should I install intel inf update ? (I dont use them, I use the windows drivers because I've read somewhere that they give a lot of problems).

What have I to do ?

Help tnx.

this message relates to the adsl modem.

try disconnecting modem, install usb drives(if not installed already), and then drives for modem, check what happens.

If system worked prior to windows reinstallement it should work after. Maybe a driver conflict
