PC Hangs

Hi,
As a new member I hope I am posting in the correct place.
I run Win xp SP3, I had to format the drive and re-install all is working well but every now and then the pc seems to hang for a couple of minutes.
I have looked in system tools and looked at conflicts and found this info

What are the system spec's in detail? And when you say the PC "hangs", what happens exactly?

Hi, Is this the info you require?

AMD Athlon(tm)64 Processor 3000+
1.98GHz 1.00GB of Ram

Also, I can be on the pc and then everything just freezes, for maybe 1 or 2 minutes then works again fine, if I were on internet the connection process halts then continues, the mouse stops then starts again everthing carrys on fine, its just like a little blip maybe every 30 mins or so.
Any thoughts, I went into system tools trying to find a cause and thats when I noticed this conflict (posted before)
