So I've known this issue was present for a LONG time. Basically, using http://www.lagom.nl/lcd-test/inversion.php Both monitors get HORRIBLE flickering.

I have a LG LED 24MP56 and an ASUS MX239H. Both are IPS panels, is this a common issue with this panel type? Both are going through HDMI as I have no display port inputs on these panels.

Is there anything I can do about it? Thanks!

Do you actually SEE a problem with your monitor??

Let me check my two ips panels upstairs....

Considering when I scroll my wheel and the images flicker violently(every single one, not just the one they mention) and cause minor nausea. I think that's a problem.

"One of the eleven boxes below may flicker slightly" Its only when i use the scroll wheel that it flickers. Also, as I type here in the monitor, every time I press spacebar, and comma, apparently, the colors on my signiture dip in color intensity. again, Its been there since forever, even with my old gtx 770.

Screen 6 looks vaguely like a slow .gif if I stare at it, but I have zero issues with either of my displays. Seems like looking for trouble.

That's the source, PNG. PNG does not support animation :)

That said, image 4b does appear to have a slight flicker as well, absent on my other monitor. The problem is the scrolling flicker. Like, its bad. did a OBS test record which did not pick it up, scrolled crystal clear. /shrug.

This whole thing started with me trying to correct my monitor settings to display clouds and stuff correctly in games, which had very obvious bands in them when looking at them.

It is in this test... but did you notice it before...in normal use????

EDIT: After sitting on my desktop I see this...

1. Nothing flickers on either IPS panel I have (Acer Predator($$$$) and a Yakakasi Catleap($$)) unless I scroll.
2. The directions do not say anything about scrolling. So as long as you are seeing it while webwheeling up and down only and not with a static screen, then I think you are fine.

Only really noticed in the browser. General use outside of it where scrolling windows is not a normal thing, no.

But It's fairly nauseating for reading articles online. text gets slightly garbled on scrolling. It's barely perceivable, but my eyes feel it over time.

It always does..

See my edit above. You are not using that test right. It doesn't ever mention to move the screen or scroll.

I don't think you have a problem.

Fair point.

Well, thanks for pointing out once again that I'm overthinking things as always ED :)
