Hey gang,
I have had an old Dell poweredge SC1430 server that has been sitting in my closet for, like, 3 years. Give me some suggestions for turning it into something useful before I blow it up.
It has dual Xeon processors running at 2.8 ghz each - they have hyperthreading. Currently it only has a gig of DDR2 ECC RAM, and a god awful 8mb ATI rage pci video card (why were these still being made in 2007?)- which struggles to render the desktop. Oh, and 6 10000 RPM SCSI drives.
